Information or advice about your wellbeing – or how you can help somebody else.
As children we learn about the world through observation, experimentation and play. As adults it helps us feel good to try something new, rediscover an old interest or take on a new responsibility. What we learn doesn’t have to be difficult or take a long time: learn to fix a bike, play an instrument or cook your favourite food. Set a challenge you’ll enjoy achieving. Learning new things will make you more confident as well as being fun.
Learning with others is a good way to meet new people and get linked into your community too. Becoming a volunteer is one option: you’ll meet others and learn new skills from woodwork to social care. Contact Flintshire Local Voluntary Council for volunteering opportunities.
If you’d prefer to take a more formal course then contact Coleg Cambria who has a range of courses in community venues from church halls to pubs.
