We know that getting outdoors in nature and enjoying a gentle walk can be beneficial for our physical and mental health; our local walking groups give people the chance to get some fresh air, meet new people and receive wellbeing support and advice from our Wellbeing practitioners. This year, we are excited to join the Marcus Movers programme and honour the incredible achievements of Marcus Skeet.
Marcus Movers
Join our new Marcus Movers walking group taking place bi-weekly, around the lovely settings in Flintshire and Wrexham.
Each week, our experienced Wellbeing practitioners and Walk leaders will lead a one-hour walk giving you the opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the fresh air and use The Five Ways to Wellbeing to improve your mental health. The route will remain on hard surface paths throughout ensuring accessibility for all.
This programme starting week commencing 4th May Walks will take place every fortnight during May and June 2026.
