Event Details

David Setter, an artist based in Mold, is helping to create a wonderful new art installation for the new ‘Mindful Meadow’ space that is being created by the National Trust.

The Mindful Meadow is a new, exciting space that will be opened in 2023. The meadow will be located near the visitor car park at Chirk Castle. However, this upcoming Totem Pole event will now take place at the Clubhouse in Mold.

The purpose of the meadow is to serve everyone with a space where they can reflect, relax, draw and just ‘connect’ with nature.

The space will consist of, mowed footpaths through wildflowers, cloud – watching benches, beautiful views and last, but not least – a totem pole!

I will be designing and making the totem pole, which will stand as a statement of the connection between people and nature. The Totem pole will stand approximately 8-10 feet tall, and will consist of ‘laser cut’ words, drawings, and wildlife.

Please contact us on 01352 97 44 30 to book your place, so we can contact you with any changes or updates before the event Thursday 17th November.
